Children's Sunday Groups
We love to welcome children and families here at St. Andrew’s Church.
What do we do in Sunday Groups?
We all meet together in the church for the start of the service at 10:45am before the children go to their groups which are held inside the church building or in the churchyard if it’s warm.
Parents and carers are always welcome to come along to settle their child.
Our overall aim is for each child to learn to know and love the Lord Jesus. Our time together lasts about 35 mins and includes teaching from the Bible, activities, games and craft.
Who can attend?
All children aged 3-11 are welcome to join in with Sunday Groups. They will need to attend the service with a parent or other adult.
What happens at the end of the session?
At the end of the service the children come back to their parents. We are very happy for children to use the churchyard as a playground after our services but we regard them as being in the care of their parents.
Who leads Sunday Groups?
Volunteers from the church family prepare and lead the sessions. All adult leaders and helpers have been DBS checked and there is an up to date Safeguarding Policy in place, as well as appropriate health and safety measures.
